About Buelow Excavating
Meet the Team!
Mary loved growing up with an up-close look at the construction industry. Watching and learning from her dad throughout her childhood gave her great insight to the industry during her three year term as a consultant on a construction bond program in Los Angeles.
One of her favorite aspects of Buelow Excavating's mission are the sustainable efforts. She loves that the team is constantly reusing materials. This not only reduces costs for the customer, but also keeps harmful items out of local landfills!
John Buelow is the owner and founder of Buelow Excavating. He studied at St. Paul Technical Vocational Institute and is licensed in Septic, Demolition, and Excavating. He also has certifications in soils testing and septic systems. John is constantly enhancing his experience by attending Continuing Education classes throughout the year. He was a member of the Minnesota On-Site Sewage Treatment Contractors Association (MOSTCA) from 2000-2004 and the Pollution Control Association (PCA) Need to Know Committee from 2000-2003.
John's favorite aspect of the business are the archeology digs. He enjoys studying the history and learning more about the local history. His favorite piece of equipment to work on is the Excavator due to its versatility and ability to dig in varied soil conditions.
In his spare time, John enjoys restoring old homes, gardening, traveling, managing his hobby chicken farm, and volunteering at church.
Buelow Excavating is a family-run business. We love to work together to provide you the best service!
